[Cyborg 009 Tribute (1960)]

Interesting, not spectacular but good nonetheless

In response to one of the other reviewers, no Cyborg 009 was NOT done by Tezuka. Cyborg 009 and Kikaider (originally a live-action show) were both the work of Shotaro Ishinomori, another important figure in anime/Japanese TV history.

The longest running series of Cyborg 009 (there were three series altogether) started at the end of the 70's, and it was in color. The newest one on Cartoon Network is just yet another remake, just as the 70's-80's version was a remake of older versions of the manga/anime.

Not quite. While Cyborg 009 is a remake, is not the same as 70's version. For one, the 2001 series covers the Mutos Saga, an arc that has only been seen in the original manga. Also, the final season, God's War, was written by Shotaro, by he died before it was concieved. However, it will be animated into the 2001 series.

Pretty good

I've seen a few claymation and stop-motion-animation movies here on Newgrounds, and this is one of the better ones. The movement wasn't too choppy, and on some parts the movement was really fluid, which was cool. Ever try something with action figures or models? That would be cool too.

Pretty decent.

But, Yatta! really does need to be put to rest. It was kinda funny that you included the fat guy, who's kinda new to Happatai, and not in the Yatta! music video. One thing you could've done was run some subtitles of the English translation of the lyrics.
BTW, if you're such a fan of Yatta! and Happatai, you should try to tell people that it's a JOKE in itself, because a lot of idiots think it's serious. Anyone who's not ignorant knows it's a big joke, and anyone that likes it should know that the guys in Happatai are COMEDIANS. They're all over TV in Japan, everyone knows them. A few of them are cast members on a popular comedy show. It'd be like if Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, and Jimmy Fallon got together and made a band... we'd all know it was a joke just by looking at them.

Awesomeness.

Very very good, I don't have to explain why, it's excellent, especially for a demo, and I hope you make it even better and release the final version here. So, with that established, I just want to offer a few suggestions for the final version. The file needs compression, it's very big, see if you can do anything to cut down the size. The characters move kinda slow and the response seems a bit slow, too. And finally, check your grammar or ask someone to proof-read it, there are a few glaring mistakes (such as the word "aftering," which is actually not a word). Just read it over again and have someone read it to weed out any mistakes, that helps a lot with any written work. Good luck, keep up the good work.

[Turning Japanese]

I've seen worse.

I dunno why you think this would offend someone. Aside from the fact that the song really IS about masturbation (the original version by The Vapors is well known to have nothing to do with anything Japanese). Well, theres a game called "Incredible Crisis" that has a level just like this, only way harder, but you're a Japanese businessman on a hospital stretcher who was just thrown out of an ambulance. Anyway, kudos to you for NOT being a little white bastard who's jealous of Japan (that's a compliment).

Not bad

It's a good idea, but the game is far to easy and far to linear (meaning, it just follows a straight path from start to finish). Oh well, keep working, you're definitely improving so the next game you make will be better.
